Two kinds of content, labelled honestly - research-based guides and comparisons, plus hands-on bench tests where a unit is physically available.
Most content on this site - guides and vs. comparisons - is built from specifications, verified prices and linked research. It is labelled research-based and never pretends to be a lab test. Where a unit is physically available, it goes through the full bench protocol and carries a “Tested” label.
How I work

In the meantime
The guides are what I can write honestly without a test bench: prices I checked myself at the manufacturer’s store, published testing from people who do have units, and a note at the top of every page saying which is which.
